This is the portrait version I took around 40 minutes before the previous shot. As you can see from both versions the weather was very changeable and the tide was closing in.
In 2003 this German cargo ship became stranded here on the Cornish coast after the Chief Officer fell unconscious at the wheel. Since then the Atlantic ocean has been and still is claiming this shipwreck piece by piece and here I have captured a small but revealing part of that action. |
